There are some things good about this tool. I think folks should be aware that the secruity scan features are not really doing much. The signature database has not been updated since 2015 and there have been a number of malware sample signatures released since the latest release in this tool. It’s not a security tool. Least wise not a very useful one. It is highly recommended to rely on other secruity product tools for antivirus over this tool. It does help clean web browser caches, memory, etc. which can help with security in relation to privacy. However, if they are lax on signatures, then there is probably some cleaning that is not real clean but rather a light scrubbing. So just know what you get. It’s very easy to use, so if your looking for a light weight cleaning and maintenance tool it’s a good fit as it puts everything into a single cockpit and you don’t have to bring up a lot of different tools to execute it.

You guys might not believe me when I say this: But this app just cleaned 50 gigs of computer space of all my junk files right in front of me in under 30 seconds! My computer no longer needs to go to the repair shop to see a proffesional technician to fix this when this app does it right at home!!! I have tried using many apps before to try and fix this issue, but none of them were able to find the hidden folder that was taking up all the space on my computer. It also helped my delete many unneeded apps as well as help me find duplicate files (SUPER USEFUL!). One suggestion would be to help distinguish apps that I really don’t need (as I accidentally deleted some apps that are essential). Overall, one of the best mac cleaning apps I have ever used. Update: The developer of this app responded to me and have validated the issue. I would raise my rating for the support. We will be expecting updates in near future. I have message the creator of this app and presented him some evidence of issues on iPhoto Cache Cleanup but I have not received any response or update on software recently. Make sure to disable iPhoto Cleanup as it will permanently modify the aspect ratio of your photos. I have verified this after some of my photos were previously corrupted. I reinstall clean OS X and iPhoto App, install the iCare and imported some photos on the iPhoto. I opened them so that iPhoto will create file cache. Then I cleaned the cache using this app and as expected some of them got aspect ratio changed. You would not notice this issue unless you review each photos as often like I do. I would like response from any of you who encountered this issue as well. I hope the developer would improve his application and respond to customers as well. We want stable product.

I’ve just used another cleaner from app store but this app actually found more junk then the other one!! will make this my preaffered app.

Among many app on the store, this one is pretty good for free up space on my Mac. However, wish that the free include more premium features.

My mac always popup "out of space" I deleted everythings I can and I dont know what else to delete. It's free up 6.4gb after clean up. Wow !

When I was looking on appstore to find an app that can help me to increase my mac, I saw iCare and thought it’s just another app that cause more RAM rather than reduce RAM from other programs. BUT I WAS WRONG. iCare has a really good design and easy to use. On the first clean, it helped me to wipe out 3.2Gb useless cache. And after 3 seconds cleaning, my Ram went from 400Mb to 2 Gb available. So why don’t you get this right now? you will be satisfied with iCare

iCare is a MUST HAVE for all Mac users. If you don’t already have this app, then I don’t know what you’re thinking. I came across this without knowing what it was all about, and decided to download it after reading a few great reviews, and boy was I pleased! iCare cleaned up my Mac and helped optimize my entire machine! Download this one now!

iCare is a good name for this app because it’s as if one clicks a icon to helps you free up space and optimize memory on your mac computer, which we could all do ourselves if we went to the right folders and did it manually — but who has time for that? It makes me happy to have a cleaner, and thus a more efficient machine, and therefore I have no problems giving it a 5-star rating for: 1) Ease of use, 2) Efficiency, 3) Doing what it claims it will do, 4) Cost. Get it, and use it routinely to keep your Mac running more smoothly. You won’t likely regret it.

I’m on version 1.2.2, and have noticed that the software was updated to 2.0. Sadly, the support site and the developer site are all down. It seems as if this software has been discontinued as I can’t update this software. It’s a shame, because I spent the $9.99 in app to get all the features after trying it out about 6 months ago and it was working nicely. It was my goto app to clear data up to preserve precious space on my 128 SSD on my Macbook Pro Retina. Off to find a better product… hopefully.

When I am opening some apps in my MAC, my Mac run slowly and its RAM is full. I search and I find iCare, It's helpful for me to improve my MAC , My Mac can work faster than it did before with 1 click. iCare also helps me to remove junk files to free up my hard disk space.

I really like this app. It is super easy to use and has really great features. The first time I ran it I got rid of over 30 GB of junk that I didn’t know existed. It also has a RAM recovery feature, which aparently purges the RAM. Thanks for making this great app!

I just wondering how does this app update its virus library to identify the latest virus. I know that most of Anti-Virus applications has their own virus library that can identify new virus when it scans the disk. However, most of system security apps for Mac doesn’t has a update system. I just don’t understand how they protect our Mac. Really hope someone could answer me...

this app was doing a good job on my mac . Since I switched from mavericks to yosemite it’s stopped working properly . I tried to update it ,It asked me to wait for ever …By the way it’s my only purchased app which gives me now headaches after the switch .

iCare is a great app, what it does is it helps you free up space and optimize memory on your mac computer. Ever since using it I freed up over 50 GBs of storage from old files I never bothered to get rid of from a long time back and it’s definitely given my macbook pro a new lease on life. It’s nice being able to download stuff now without constantly deleting files to free up space. Definitely give this a try

please make it support 3rd party apps

Works fine on my iMac 10.9 and MacBook Pro (late 2011, 10.9) - no crashes witnessed in a week of use (iCare + iCare Unlimited). Made my systems significantly faster, cleaning out GBs of “junk”, as stated. Handy bunch of utils in the Unlimited version I bought. Some English spelling mistakes in GUI. Seems a very decent well priced app.

First computer care app I tried on Mac. Good and innovative app. You should try it.

I ran through the cleaning process and now I have been unable to retrieve email on this computer. I asked for support and received NO response. I believe some of the permissions were deleted from my cache and now I have uncovered a clear issue in which iCloud has stopped functioning which I have been unable to resolve after reinstalling most of my system. I am fairly computer savy and I can tell you if I produced an app like this I would be prepared to help clients that have problems. This is no way to earn my business and I believe you should be cautious.
